Did-it, Enquiro, and Eyetools Uncover Google’s Golden Triangle

google's golden triangle A new study by search engine marketing firm Dig-it.com suggests that people’s eyes are drawn to the top left quadrant of the web browser window when looking at search engine results.

This triangular area the eye is first compelled to view is further described as a "F" where the eye tends to travel vertically along the far left side.

A question that arises in my mind is whether this changes for people living in other countries or cultures? If you drive on the left side of the road in your country (not just when you’re drunk), is your tend to a different pattern? If your language is written and read from right to left, would you be drawn to the Google Adsense ads before the sponsored ads at the top left of the page?
