A New York Times Article today [Apple Executive Calls Family of Teenager Killed for IPod - free registrataion required] reports that Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, telephoned the father of a teen who was stabbed to death last week during a fight over an iPod.
Several years ago kids were getting beat up over there track shoes. These days it’s cell phones and iPods. I heard a year or two ago that people were ditching the easily-identified white ear buds that come with iPods for ones which didn’t immediately give away the fact that they were walking down the street with a pod on them.
