Prevent accidental AdSense Clicks

For anyone who thinks that sounds a little crazy… I’m speaking from personal experience when I say it can happen. Occasionally I’m interested in some ad on one of my pages and though I’ve always caught myself in time before following the ad, but the following scenario has caused me to accidentally click my own ads at least three times (wuss that I am when it comes to being booted from AdSense, I’ve emailed Google on all every occasion to let them know I did it and didn’t mean to.)
So here’s how it’s happened to me: I’m working up a new web page or modifying an existing page, and I get into that manic cycle of making a small tweak in BBEdit, then quickly going back to the browser to reload, and the machine starts running slow, and one way or another I make a click in the window and about that time the browser finishes rendering the AdSense content from the JavaScript and I clicked the bugger! I cringed everytime that happened since Google no doubt correlates the IP you log into adsense from, so they can see clicks from the same IP to your ads. Don’t do it!! Nonetheless, it can and does happen accidentally at times.
I haven’t tried this FireFox plugin and probably wont since I have enough FF plugins I rely on, but enough that I don’t need yet another slowing down my browsing experience.
