Intelliflix - Rent Games and DVD Movies by Mail
I’ve found a new DVD rental service which offers additional options over those provided by the two leaders, BlockBuster Online and NetFlix. A service called Intelliflix works the same as NetFlix and Blockbuster in that you add the movies you want to see to a queue on the Intelliflix website — putting them in the order you’d like to receive them — and the movies are sent out to you by US First-class mail. The shipping is free and the DVDs are sent with a pre-paid return mailer envelope. Keep the movies as long as you want then just drop them in any mailbox. When Intelliflix receives a DVD back from you, your next selection is mailed out.
The main features which set Intelliflix apart from Blockbuster and NetFlix is the ability to rent video games and adult movies from the same subscription. While access to adult titles and games is the main difference, Intelliflix also has many more subscription options, plus pay-per-rent where you simply pay to rent any DVD or game; this feature is available to everyone, in addition to your regular subscription or without purchasing a subscription.
Intelliflix also (as of the date of this writing) offers an annual subscription for 3 movies out-at-a-time which saves you nearly 50% over the cost of renting from NetFlix or BlockBuster Online.
I used NetFlix for many months last year but eventually dropped my subscription. This year I’ve been using BlockBuster Online, but just bailed out from their service this month. So now I’m starting to look around for the next service to try out.
