Quick Paypal Payments
Here’s an easy way to create links which allow people to send you money with PayPal. Just create a hyperlink in the following form:
http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_xclick&Guide to Parameters
business=support@acmetech.com&amount=15.00
&item_name=adsense-deluxe
business: your paypal email address
amount: the preset payment amount
item_name the transaction description
Don’t forget to URL-encode the item_name parameter if there are spaces or other characters not allowed within URLs. If you leave out the amount parameter, a field will be provided for the person sending money to fill in an amount (if you’re taking donations, you might want to let the person fill in how much they want to donate). Leave out the item_name field and the visitor is also given a field to type something into. The PayPal Send Money extension provides a quick way to send money to anyone with an email address. Enter the recipient’s email address and the extension opens a quick link to PayPal’s Website Payments Standard checkout page so you can log in and make a quick payment to a friend.
